will assist the Refinery in maximizing and achieving effective maintenance performance through the systematic application of scheduling maintenance work. Responsible for weekly and long term maintenance schedules and also provides a format for issuing a daily schedule. Scheduling includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work.
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Schedule maintenance work to include overseeing the scheduling of all maintenance work orders, reviewing the status of current/future work orders and communicating the status of each work order to maintenance supervisors and Operations.
Prepares and schedules work orders within identified operational, strategic, and/or planning constraints.
Conducts weekly maintenance schedule meetings and prepares/presents weekly schedule.
Checks material and resource availability for work orders on weekly schedule, adjusts schedules as needed. Load resources to target capacity loading and notifies planners if additional labor is needed. Schedules shared equipment such as cranes, boom trucks, vacuum trucks, man lifts, and forklifts.
Reports weekly metrics such as schedule compliance and capacity loading.
Provides a format to conduct a daily maintenance schedule meeting and issue a daily maintenance schedule to account for breaks in work identified by the maintenance supervisors and checks material and resource availability. The daily schedule is adjusted to load resources to target capacity loading.
Maintains the long term maintenance schedule with unit and equipment shutdowns.
Maintains the maintenance schedule in SAP to serve as a communication and decision making tool.
High school diploma required, Associate's degree preferred
5+ years of related work experience
Experience with project or manufacturing scheduling including sequence of tasks, task dependencies, timeline, critical path, float, offset, and the availability and leveling of resources (labor, equipment, tools)
SAP experience that includes ability to change work orders, set basic start dates, schedule operations and sub-operations, perform material queries; check Quantity On Hand; check for Stock versus Non-Stock; create and edit Task Lists; schedule WO, set User Status, update WO and Operations with Partial Confirmations and Confirmation. SAP knowledge of the graphical work order scheduling (GWOS) tool
Proficient with MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Experience working with other scheduling software (e.g. Primavera, MS Project, etc.) preferred
Must have a valid driver's license with clean abstract
Must have good organizational skills and be able to work effectively and professionally with others
Must have 20/40 vision or better, have depth perception, full field and able to distinguish colors

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
