Responsibilities This is a full--time hourly plus commission professional sales position within the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) that actively prospects for sales leads. Disney Vacation Club is a vacation ownership/timeshare product. Our Sales Associates are expected to be proactive as they interact with our guests at Aulani and in Waikiki. Sales Associates will provide general information about Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa and are responsible for transitioning into Disney Vacation Club product overviews to schedule time for a DVC sales presentation.
Basic Qualifications
Motivated by commision-based sales
Willingness to routinely approach guests you do not know
Proven record of success and achievement
Demonstrated history of initiative
Ability to work independently as well in a team environment
Ability to influence and persuade others to see your point of view
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including over-time, nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to work on your feet, at both indoor and outdoor locations throughout the year
Ability to be flexible with work location (including the Honolulu/Waikiki area and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina)
Demonstrated
computer
proficiency within a Windows environment
Demonstrated strong presentation skills
Demonstrated strong Guest Service skills
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
