Are you ready to join this team and make an impact? The role as the Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight of learning and development programs at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
This role conducts and supervises operational and leadership training as well as programs that enhance the Cast experience.
This position will report to the Director of Human Resources This position is Full-Time and will be working onsite in an office located at our beautiful Aulani resort on Oahu, Hawaii What You Will Do Supports business and human resources strategies by assessing, leading, and deploying Leader and Cast development programs intended to improve organization efficiency.
Assumes a leadership role in developing a culture that enables Cast and Leaders to perform at their peak and exceed organization goals by partnering with Operations Training and Disney University to deliver training sessions and activities.
Evaluates the effectiveness of training and assesses both on-boarding and continuous learning solutions.
to ensure consistency for new hire and existing Cast.
Supervise and assess continuous training needs based on Leadership and Operational requirements, new product offerings, changes, and updates.
Leads the coordination of training sessions and activities including but not limited to program scheduling, training spaces, implementation, facilitation, program-related materials, facilitators, trainers, and other training resources.
Tracks, reports, and monitors training for Operations Cast and Leaders as well as ongoing communications with Operations, Line of Business partners, Steering Committee, Disney University, and other partners.
Maintains active knowledge of course offerings, can champion these topics, and regularly supervises business needs in order to update or retire solutions.
Schedule, deliver, and continuously monitor Resort On-boarding (e.
g.
, Resort Orientation, LOB Overviews, LOB specific classes, etc.
) and regulatory/safety compliance training in partnership with Cast Scheduling/Workforce Management and Safety Communicate, provide logistical support and deliver Disney University learning initiatives including facilitation of leadership courses Lead the project management of training initiatives with key partners including planning, analysis, development, implementation, delivery and sustainment.

Minimum of two years leadership experience in operations or similar experiences Proven self-starter requiring minimal direction, follow-up and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills to communicate effectively and share all relevant information Demonstrated ability to build and sustain client relationships as well as build and motivate effective teams Demonstrated excellent facilitation skills with training all levels of leaders in leadership and development courses Proven ability to effectively manage performance of team members Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills Understands learning measurement and key performance indicators Demonstrated attention to detail Proven ability to project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Advanced computer expertise to include managing online meetings, Zoom and MS Office products, including Outlook, Viva Engage, Excel, and PowerPoint It will be ideal if you have:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
